Roku CEO Addresses the Absence of Peacock and HBO Max

Post by Admin » Fri Sep 04, 2020 3:48 pm

Roku is a wonderful media streaming platform for its rich diverse mix of content.

One thing that has angered some faithful Roku users is the omission of both HBO Max and Peacock from the extensive Roku channel lineup.

In a recent interview with Variety, Roku CEO Anthony Wood, presented some facts of why these two popular streaming TV services have not yet been included. Along with Roku, Amazon is also currently in a dispute with both HBO and NBC and their channels are also missing from their Fire TV platform.

Fortunately, there are many other great streaming alternatives. And early reviews of Peacock have been mixed. For HBO content, the regular HBO channel still works on Roku which lets users access movies and shows.
