It seems like Roku has been making deal after deal lately to further their platform. Bringing joy into the hearts and minds of cord-cutters everywhere. They recently made a deal to purchase from Nielson their Advanced Video Advertising (AVA) business.
This gives them a big leg up over competitors like Amazon and Apple with access to Nielsen's video automatic content recognition (ACR) and dynamic ad insertion (DAI) tech.
Nielsen and Roku will form a partnership for Nielsen ad and content that will be integrated into Roku's popular platform.
