1. Unplug your Roku from AC power. This is sometimes easier by unplugging the power cord behind your Roku instead of from the wall.
2. Now go to your Wi-Fi Router and power it down. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in.
3. Once your Roku has fully booted backup and all the indicator lights are normal, plug your power cord back into your Roku.
Many times this is all it takes to get things working again. If this did not work, skip to the next part.
It could be your WiFi signal is weak, and this can sometimes cause it to pause, or stop working while it tries to reestablish a signal that is adequate for streaming.

A Roku with an Ethernet port can solve a lot of buffering and poor WiFi performance issues. It really is the most reliable way to watch TV from the Internet. If you can use a hard wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, this will eliminate a lot of wireless performance issues.
