When downloading files for a Nvidia SHIELD, there is often confusion as to which file type you should download. Many file stores online will offer several options :?:

When choosing between ARM, ARM 64Bit or X86 only two will work.

The last choice X86 is only for Intel processors and these files will not work on a SHIELD.
x86 is a family of instruction set architectures based on the Intel 8086 microprocessor and its 8088 variant.
If you choose ARM or ARM 64Bit either of these two file types will work perfectly fine. But since the SHIELD uses a Tegra X1 64bit processor. Use the 64 Bit file type if given the choice.
