Before we bought our SHIELD it seems I was updating Android boxes at least once and sometimes twice a year.
Our 2015 Nvidia SHIELD is still going strong. Meanwhile back in China they keep releasing Android streaming boxes. With little bitty hardware updates each time.
Nvidia is the best that will quickly make you forget the rest.
