With sale of the Google Chromecast far behind Roku, and Fire TV. Google is changing things up. And dropping the Chromecast platform in favor of a more full featured media streamer which uses the Android TV operating system.
While it may still look like a dongle or a streaming stick on the outside, the operating system will be Android TV rebranded to Google TV. And it will have more memory, a remote control plus run a wide range of Android apps.
