After a policy change and the news went viral on social media that PayPal would take $2,500 from any PayPal user who posted false information online, causing many members to cancel their PayPal accounts. Now the company is claiming it was all a mistake and false information was posted incorrectly by the company.

This statement was never supposed to be entered into the policy. The company has a past of going after right-leaning bloggers and has gone as far as defunding them by closing their accounts.

Apparently, this even made it to the halls of Congress where some Representatives were getting very irritated.
