Verizon continues to redefine the options available for cord cutters seeking freedom from cable TV and internet providers.
Its foray into the realm of cord cutting 2.0 gained substantial momentum in 2023. The company now aims to expand its 5G Home Internet service into new markets.
In a recent address at the Wells Fargo 7th Annual TMT Summit Conference, Joe Russo, the President of Global Networks and Technology at Verizon, discussed the company’s ambitious plans for subscriber growth. When asked about the feasibility of the target of adding 350,000 to 400,000 new subscribers per quarter, Russo responded optimistically, stating that Verizon anticipates a long runway of success. This can be attributed to the efficient utilization of already deployed spectrum and the upcoming expansion into untapped markets.
