Netflix Could Lose 23% of It's User Base if They Started Running Ads

Rumors have been flying for some time now that Netflix has been toying with the idea of running ads in their popular streaming TV service. We also know that Roku and Netflix go way back, and many Roku users have purchased a Roku media streamer just so they can watch Netflix.

In a recent survey just released, 23% of respondents said they would dump Netflix like a hot potato if they started running ads on their platform.
One reason many cord cutters dumped Netflix in the first place was so they could enjoy ad-free TV.

This recent poll should cause the company to reflect on their current business plan and put aside any notion of every running ads. Unless of course they decide to offer a free ad-supported version of Netflix than that could maybe fly.

This makes one wonder really, how many subscribers dumped Netflix after the last price increase?
