SpaceX the Satellite Internet Provider company by the same person (Elon Musk) that invented Tesla the electric car company, is launching thousands of small satellites. They just begun sending out emails for those that signed up to be early beta testers.
The initial cost is $99/month with a $500 one time purchase fee for the receiver, tripod and dish.
