Netflix, the streaming company that has made cord cutting easier for the masses, has eliminated their popular one-month free trial.

You can no longer try out their Service free for a 30/days. This was eliminated this all together from their platform.

Now when signing-up for a new account, the only three choices available are which plan you want to sign-up and pay for.

Plans start at $8.99 for a single screen account in SD, $12.99 for two screens in HD, and $15.99 for four screens in 4K HDR.

In the past new subscribers could stream the first month for free but this is no longer an option. What remains unknown at this point is how this change will affect their new subscriber numbers.

Free trials are a popular way for streaming TV providers to offer their customers a way to try their service before they buy. Netflix probably figured they are well enough known now that this was no longer necessary.

Apple just gave away 3 extra months for their Streaming Service Apple TV+

Other services like Showtime, HBO, Philo, and others including adult Roku streaming channels, continue to offer free extended trials to enhance new subscribers to their platform.

If Netflix's idea to eliminate free trials completely negatively affects their new subscriber numbers going forward, maybe at some point we may once again see a return of a 30/day Netflix Free trial.

But for now, the first free month of Netflix for new subscribers is history.
